The Canyoning Experts

Our canyon tours are high quality, professionally guided groups which enable the participants to experience the finest things that the canyon ecosystem has to offer. Most canyoning tours operate during the warmer months of the year (start of October to the end of April) except for ‘dry’ canyons which operate all year round.

Exploring canyons requires an assortment of skills from swimming to wading and abseiling. Canyoners can expect to jump into pools of crystal clear water, swim through long passages, abseil down cascading waterfalls and paddle leisurely through subterranean waterways!

Bowens Canyon

Intermediate Abseiling & Canyoning Adventure

A little more involved than Serendipity, we recommend this expedition for those with canyon experience and good fitness.

Bowens Creek is one of the most beautiful canyons we run, some short swims, water jumps, log slides, boulder scrambles, wading and tricky abseiling will be necessary to explore this deep and beautiful canyon. The final slot is long, green, and reminiscent of Claustral Canyon. The walk out involves some roped scrambling up waterfalls and walking through towering Sassafras and Coachwood rainforest.

Serendipity Canyon

Intermediate Abseiling & Canyoning Adventure

Serendipity is a beautiful canyon where you’re likely to see freshwater yabbies, birdlife, plants, interesting fungi and some amazing rock formations.

This is our recommended trip for those looking to get their first experience in a Wilderness Abseil Canyon. The canyon involves up to four short but exciting abseils, an optional water jump and some short swims. This is a great canyon for those that have never been canyoneering before but have outdoor experience, fitness and a keen sense of adventure.

Claustral Canyon

Advanced Abseiling & Canyoning Adventure

For many this is THE canyon. A huge day out in one of the classic Blue Mountains Canyons.

When we reach the first abseil, we begin our descent in to the Black Hole Of Calcutta- An infamous set of waterfall abseils dropping 45 meters in to near darkness.

From here we reach the junction of Ranon Canyon- A 700m long section of vibrant green walls with lots of swims and scrambles. The final length of Ranon Canyon features lots of advanced scrambling on and through slippery surfaces along with several difficult water obstacles.

Tigersnake Canyon

Winter Abseiling & Canyoning Adventure

This is our Intermediate Canyon though the cooler months (May – September). Abseiling experience is preferred, but a keen sense of adventure is all you require to see this fantastic canyon!

This trip features four exciting and ‘unique’ abseils up to 25m. The highlight is the final abseil through a hole in the ground which takes us into a deep, dark slot. The canyon in this final section is simply spectacular!
